This client had recently purchased a gorgeous home in an excellent location. Although the kitchen wasn’t falling apart, nor was it poorly constructed, they desired to have a much more modern design. We immediately began by eliminating an angled corner that ultimately had no purpose. This change allowed for a large, multi-functional island including a second sink and refrigerated drawers. The home already had a large formal dining area therefore we eliminated the breakfast table and created equivalent seating around the island which proved to be far more functional than the prior arrangement. Utilizing tilt up hardware and streamlining the range wall, we were able to create much better function considerate of counter space, storage, and modern appeal per our client’s desire.
