A true landmark on the South Hill, this Tudor style home is on the National Registry of historic homes.
Designing within approved guidelines, these clients opted for an addition to this beautiful home that provided enough room for the kitchen of their dreams. They came to us with a very clear vision for the direction of the project. We worked alongside our clients, their architect and other subcontractors in an effort to make everything come together beyond expectation. In the end, the finished product seemed to be a flawless reproduction of the original craftsmanship performed on this timeless classic. One of a kind, custom built, flush inset cabinetry in two colors with two types of granite counters, stainless appliances, heated wood and tile flooring and custom designed hardware all played very nicely together. Finally, vintage lighting sourced by the owner was placed above the island to complete this masterpiece. A colored rendering created during the design phase was superseded by the elegant combination of excellent design, beautiful materials and craftsmanship reminiscent of old world tradesman.
