This classic home was in desperate need of an update as the kitchen was beginning to fall apart. The client desired something more fitting to the craftsman style for this new kitchen. Windows at the end compromised a standard height cabinet however by dropping the counter tops we were able to create a very ergonomic work area while also breaking up such a long run of granite counter. Small details on these lower cabinets helped to separate and identify them as furniture-like pieces versus kitchen cabinetry. Installation of white oak flooring was a nice integration to the rest of the main floor. Generous walk space coupled with multiple work zones made for significant functional improvement to this original kitchen.
